Students sit official Cambridge examinations at registered exam centres in their country of residence. Our admissions team manages all exam centre registration on your behalf.
Yes. Cambridge A-Level is fully recognised by LUMS, IBA, NUST, Aga Khan University, and all major Pakistani universities. Students go through the standard IBCC equivalence process to convert Cambridge grades into the Pakistani marks system. The certificate itself does not indicate whether the student studied online or at a physical school — it is identical in every respect.
For MBBS admission in Pakistan and internationally, students must take A-Level Biology and A-Level Chemistry as compulsory subjects. A-Level Physics is strongly preferred and required by most medical schools. Lumina's Medical stream covers Biology, Chemistry, and Physics with MDCAT preparation integrated throughout both years.
AS-Level is Year 1 of the A-Level programme (Grade 11) and is a standalone qualification in its own right. A-Level covers both Year 1 and Year 2 (Grades 11 and 12) and is the full qualification required for most university admissions. At Lumina, students can take AS-Level only or continue to the full A-Level across two years.
Yes. UK universities accept Cambridge A-Level results regardless of whether the student studied at an online or physical school. What matters is the Cambridge certificate and the grades achieved. Lumina Global School provides full UCAS application support including personal statement guidance and reference letters for students applying to UK universities.
Students should have completed O-Level or IGCSE with a minimum of 5 subjects including Mathematics and English, or Matric with at least 60% marks. A placement assessment is conducted for all new students. Result-awaited students are welcome to apply and complete their enrollment upon receiving results.
Cambridge registered examination centres are available in Riyadh, Jeddah, Dammam (Saudi Arabia), Dubai, Abu Dhabi (UAE), Doha (Qatar), Kuwait City, Muscat (Oman), and Manama (Bahrain). Lumina Global School manages all exam centre registration and coordinates examination logistics for every student.
